Mission
The mission of East Holmes Fire & EMS shall be the preservation and protection of life and property from and during such fire and emergencies that may occur in the jurisdiction of the East Holmes Fire & EMS district and to lend assistance to neighboring departments when requested to do so.
2025 was a busy year where we provided service to 847 emergency calls dispatched to us. We are not a staffed station and continue to handle all calls on a volunteer response after being paged by Holmes County 911 dispatch center.

Years of service pins awarded as follows
- 5 yrs - Sam Erb, David Mast

- 15 yrs - Lavon Wengerd
- 25 yrs - Lt. Cornelius Martin
- 45 yrs - Roger Clark
Our roster is currently at 45 with the majority being cross trained.
26 with training in both fire & EMS. 11 with fire only training. 8 with EMS only training.
